Dunvegan is an ideal base for walking, climbing and bird watching with the spectacular scenery of the Cuillins and MacLeod’s Tables as a back drop. Dunvegan Castle is said to be the oldest inhabited castle in Northern Scotland, having been occupied by the clan MacLeod for over seven centuries and today remains the ancestral home of the present 29th chief John MacLeod.

All these attractions are situated in the north-west corner of Skye.
